Wishing moon

Tonight, at 10:39pm edt, is the full moon. Tonight's moon is the Hare Moon and it is also a wishing moon. According to the Season's of the Witch calendar:
"wishing moons occur only four times a year on the moon closest to the sabbats. They are occasions for planning the goals of the coming quarter and assessing the results of the quarter past."

Today is also a good day for workplace spells. If there is something about your work that you don't like, today is a good day to work on changing that magically.

I've been using the 7th House's Seasons of the Witch Planners for three or four years and I love them. They have lots of good information each month on aspects of the moon, times for workings and energies that are available for workings. Plus, the artwork that is lovely.

making wishes reality...

I've been a busy witch today. I've been working on making my wishes a reality. I have an appointment with the bank loan officer this afternoon and I'm going to inquire about the loan for my dream home. In anticipation, I have made a mojo bag to carry with me and also begun a honey jar spell to "sweeten" the bank officer. I can't get this house/property out of my mind. When I was getting the paperwork together to take to the bank I found the paperwork from the listing agent that I received over a year ago when I went to see the property.

Last week, when I talked with one of my good friends, she was thrilled when I told her that the house had become available again and she also believes that it is supposed to be mine. I tell you, I am determined to make this happen. I know I belong there, I believe... I believe... I b.e.l.i.e.v.e!

Magick on vacation

During my vacation last week I took many pictures. Because of the glare from the sun I usually couldn't see the lcd screen on my camera to tell what the picture would look like. I was amazed by how well most of my pictures came out. Going through the over 250 pictures that I took, there was one photo that was just seemed magical to me. It is a picture I took while walking on the beach. I think this is my favorite photo.

Lookie what I'm getting!!

Okay, so I already know what I'm getting for Christmas. I always know anyway. I just wish I could have it now! It should be here in a few days, or rather at my mum's. I'm so happy! Finally a way to get good pictures! Click here and you can see what I'm getting and what my Mum got a steal on!

Anyway, work has been crazy this week. I've been so exausted that I haven't had the energy to do much of anything. I basically just come home and then fall asleep in the chair. I haven't accomplished anything at all this week. Hopefully that will change. I'm getting so busy too. I don't know how I'm going to get everything done. I've barely started shopping. I finally have my tree up and decorated. I will take a pic after the holidays before I take it down.

Oh, and Way to go STEELERS! They had a great game last night and Big Willie Parker had a terrific night! YAY!

I finally did it...

I finally did it. I had come to the conclusion that I had put so much energy into my wants regarding "T" that it had taken on a life of it's own. It had been over four years since things started. But now they have ended. On Wednesday, I worked a spell using the powerful banishing and releasing time that it was and I now finally feel free. Yesterday I was able to say no to him for the first time in years and today I explained why I had said no. He seemed to understand and said that he thought it was for the best.

The important thing is that I feel free. I'm glad that it is over. I still care about him, but I don't feel as if I can't live without him.

So, I'm achieved a big step along my new path. I'm trying to clean out things in my life that I know are not working for me or that are hindering me in reaching my goals. I really think that ending the bad relationship was the biggest step. But I still have work to do.

Now I have to decide what to do about my job. I'm very frustrated by it and am feeling very disgruntled. I am not really sure just what to do, but I think the answer will come in time. It seems as though answers have been falling in my lap quite a bit lately.

I'll have to see where they lead.

The end is near...

I've done it. I've really almost finished the never-ending halloween scarf. I have finished the knitting and sewn in all the ends. Now I'm just attaching the fringe. I'll be done tonight! YAY!!! I'm so very happy to be done with it and be able to wear it for halloween! I'll post pics when I can.

This weekend is very busy with the usual grandmother visits and needing to do yardwork and such. I also have to get my pumpkins ready and get candy and what not for halloween night. My favorite shop is having a halloween open house on Saturday and I want to stop by there and on Sunday I have a birthday party for a 1 year old to attend.

I also plan on working up my ritual for halloween and also a banishing spell to remove someone (safely with no harm to them or myself) from my life. It is way past time that the relationship end and I know of no other way to seperate us. I can't seem to do it on my own with out assistance. So, I'll ask the gods and goddesses to help me with a little magickal aid.

So, that is what I'll be doing this weekend. I hope to find some time in there to get online. I haven't been much at night this week and am behind on email and stuff. It looks to be a quiet day at work so maybe I can get caught up today.
