It's been a fun weekend so far. I've been fairly productive and yet had fun at the same time. I've been enjoying a Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon on DVD. I had season 1 already and just ordered and received seasons 2 and 3. I really miss this show. It was so cool!
As far as the productive part, I've cleaned out two tubs of stuff (magazines and books) and have done several loads of laundry, moved my bed, cleaned up most of the living room and currently have a pot of homemade chicken noodle soup simmering on the stove, minus the noodles cause it's too early to do add those just yet.
While I watch season 2 today, I'm going to continue to go through magazines - cutting out the parts I like and tossing the rest. I also hope to finish cleaning the living room, clean the cat boxes, finish the laundry and continue setting up the blessings altar I started yesterday. Lofty goals and aspirations, I know. At least I'm trying to be productive instead of just sitting here doing nothing.
Gotta check the soup and get back to the projects.
Blessings,

Farmer wants a What?
I'm not a fan of the reality show genre. I think they are actually not very realistic so I never watch them. However... last week I came across this show. I love this show! I think the guy is very sweet and kinda cute and I've already picked which girl I think he should choose. My only question is ... why didn't I hear about it before it went on the air? I might would have auditioned for this one. :-)

If you like English History...
...and you haven't seen this...I highly recommend that you do. I know it is not historically accurate, but I think it is fabulous!
PS... Jonathan Rhys Meyers is fantabulous!

I'm still here...
Really, I am. I just haven't had time to post. I finished the first sock and have started the other one. I really like the sock knitting! I have pictures, just not with me right now, but I promise to post them soon.
I'm so glad that work is almost to a break. I just can't stand it right now and really want to change careers. I'm going to have to do a lot more thinking on that.
Anyway, I'm around and have been reading blogs just not posting. I promise to come out of Gilmore land at some point and put up a real post with pictures and everything. (Season 7 of Gilmore Girls arrived in my mailbox this past Friday and I've spent a good deal of time watching it since I never saw it when it originally aired.)
CopperBoom!

Back to blogging...
Hopefully, now that I have my blog back in reasonable shape, I'll be back to blogging on a more regular basis. I'm at home today with a cold and have worked on getting my blog fixed. Now I'm watching the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and laundry. I'm washing the felted purse again as I didn't like how it turned out from the first washing. I don't think it was tight enough. When I get it finished I'll post a picture.
We had rain yesterday and today. Yesterday it was mostly light sprinkling, but today we had lots of downpours. I don't know how much rain we actually received, but I swear I can hear the trees and flowers sighing in joy. I wish we could get more. I hope for more...
I'm slowly making my way through the never-ending afghan. I'm almost done with the third of four blocks in the first panel. I'll be so happy when the first panel is done.
Oh, and I am so hooked on LA Ink. Kat Von D and her crew are awesome artists. I would so love to get a tattoo from anyone in that shop. I've also been checking out Moon's new tattoos. I'm so wanting to get another tattoo. I'll have to check around and see if I can find a good place to go and get one. :-)
Well, I'm off to enjoy Buffy and scrounge up something to eat and surf the web.

It's been a pretty good weekend here in Aryland. :-) Yesterday I spent some time with my Mum and Grandmother and then went to a baby shower for a friend of mine. I just love this friend and think the world of her. I was able to have a good visit with her and more friends in our little group as well as her children. They are all sweet as can be.
Today was another day with Mum and Grandmother. Grandmother was in a good mood today and not very down on herself. I am currently watching the Steelers play against the New Orleans Saints. Steelers are just rockin right now. I'm absolutely thrilled with them. They really look good today. I am worried about two injuries, but hopefully they will get better soon.
Oh, while at the baby shower I spoke with my friend that owns the shop that sells my wreaths and she said she needs more! YAY!! I'm so happy to hear that! I was worried that they weren't doing well. She says the mini wreaths are selling very well and I will be making many more of those.
On the knitting side of things, I had decided not do knit anything else until I started a class, but when my Grandmother saw my halloween scarf she just loved it. I offered to make her one and she said it was too much trouble, but I told her it was good practice for me. So, I'll be making one that is red and black stripes like the halloween scarf, but it will be much smaller than that one.
So, tomorrow is a work holiday for me and I had big plans to work around the house and yard tomorrow since it wouldn't be raining. However, I now will have to work at least part of the day tomorrow. I'm pretty ill about it, but I don't seem to have a choice. I have to have some computers ready to deliver first thing on Tuesday and I'd rather go in tomorrow and make sure they are ready to go, than take a chance on it taking too long to get them ready on Tuesday morning. I wouldn't be ill, if the people that need the computers hadn't waited until 5:15 on Friday afternoon to tell me. I think that is just tacky. But, what can ya do.
So, I'm going to sit here and watch the rest of the game and work on laundry some more. I usually don't watch Extreme Home Makeover because it is just too emotional for me, but tonight they are making over a 135 yr old home and I would love to see what they do. I just hope they don't tear it down and build something new. That would really piss me off if it was my house. Anywho, maybe I'll try to cast on for Grandmother's scarf. I don't know. I may just sit here and vegetate. :-)
GO STEELERS!
