Magic and Blinkies...

My blinkies are dead! My blinkies are dead! Oh woe is me... :-)
I think I was linking wrong and the site they had come from is no more...so my blinkies are dead! I will have to look into getting new blinkies and hosting them properly so as not to lose them again.
My teeth are feeling much better and things in general are looking up. Yesterday was an interesting day. I once again fell into the trap set by "T" and am working now on a spell to help me end this situation amicably. However, I went to my FAVORITE shop late in the day and bought a few new things. I got a braclet for Power and Vitality and a new silver chain and a fluorite pendant. It helps with handling chaos. :-) I went back today for a flower essence consultation (which was very interesting) and watched one of my wreaths get sold! (YAY!) The person that bought it asked if I could make another one with a specific intent that they have and I told them yes. I'm going to email her later and find out what she needs and then start planning.

While I was there I got a beautiful Door Open jar candle and this absolutely gorgeous box that I have been wanting for some time. It is a wooden box with three compartments. It has pentacles on it in various locations. I'll take a picture and get it up on Monday so you can see it. When I first saw one I thought it would make an excellent spell box. Put your stones in one section, your intent or spell written on paper in the middle drawer and herbs that correspond in the third sections. That way the spell/intent is 'surrounded' by boosters. :-) Anyway, it is what I thought of when I saw it and is probably what I'll use it for, although you could use it to keep supplies, ritual jewelry, or other ritual items.

I spent Thursday night on a wild cleaning spree. I don't know what got into me but I couldn't stop cleaning. I didn't sit down for about 5 hours after I got home and then I promptly fell asleep. But, my living room is really looking good and I'm very happy with it. :-)

We have finally had some rain. After weeks of needing it and storms coming all around us, we had a good night last night and about half of today of good steady rain. It was really nice to see and hear and also the day today was so cool compared to what it has been like. It made me think of fall.

Fall is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the chill in the air and sweaters and scarves. I love the sound when you walk through the fallen leaves and the smell of the cold coming. Don't get me wrong, I love spring and summer when the flowers are blooming and everything is sunny and so colorful, but fall and winter are just so....perfect.

Anyway, just wanted to post a little about what I've been up to the last few days. I'm spending most of tomorrow with my Grandmother and Mum and hope to get the yard mowed late tomorrow afternoon. I'm also still working on my house and getting it cleaned up better. If I can get the house clean maybe I can keep it straight now. :-)
